Purpose of the site?
The idea was to help Muslims better understand financial markets, from an Islamic perspective. Anecdotally, I have seen many Muslims shy away from investing out of fear that they may engage in impermissble activities. This site InshAllah will solve that. It is important to note that the information provided on this site is through my own research; links have been provided for your benefit.
What inspired the project?
Listening to a khutbah which mentioned that you should use your skills to benefit the Ummah! If you are skilled in coding, financial markets, cooking, medicine... use it for good :)
